Recreation Permits The Ely District does not charge any fees presently for BLM recreation sites. Federal recreation passports, Golden Eagle and Golden Age Passports are available at the Ely Office for other federally owned sites such as National Parks and recreation sites. Golden Eagle.....$65 This pass allows immediate family or passengers in your vehicle into all national parks and federal entry fee site. Primarily issued by the National Park Service the new Golden Eagle Passports are upgraded from the $50.00 park pass with the purchase of a $15 Golden Eagle Hologram that allows entry into all federal entry fee areas. The pass is good for a 12 month period from the date of purchase. Golden Age.....$10 This is a one time fee for a lifetime pass available to citizen or permanent residents of the United States who are 62 years of age or older.
