The proposal is to fully process the renewal of the term grazing permit for Wahoo Ranch on the Willard Creek Allotment (10127). The current grazing term permit for the Willard Creek Allotment will expire on 01/31/2016. Cattle are the authorized kind of livestock. The issuance of the term grazing permit would be for a period of ten years. The term permit for the Willard Creek Allotment currently authorizes 311 cattle AUMs from April 15 to November 30. The grazing permit area occurs entirely within White Pine County, Nevada. The permit area is situated in the east portion of the Ely District BLM, approximately 40 miles east of Ely, Nevada. The permit area occurs within the South Spring Valley Watershed (#120A). The term permit will be issued in accordance with Title 43 CFR 4130.2(a), "Grazing permits or leases shall be issued to qualified applicants to authorize use on the public lands and other lands under the administration of the Bureau of Land Management that are designated as available for livestock grazing through land use plans."
