Scotty Meadows/South Spring Valley Allotment Division Fence

This range improvement project would be a one mile east/west fence constructed in South Spring Valley (White Pine County) to divide allotments. The fence would be a standard 4 wire fence built to wildlife specifications and standard operating procedures. The fence would occur in Wyoming sagebrush range. A cattleguard for this fence has already been installed on the paved county road. The need for the proposed project is to prevent recurring livestock movement from one allotment to another, which results in unauthorized use and potential negative impacts to native rangelands. The proposal would create an effective allotment boundary for improved administration of native rangelands.
