Maps are available from the Ely District Office. Land Ownership and Land & Mineral Ownership maps in intermediate scale, 1:100,000 can be purchased for $4.00 each. These maps are printed at a size of 1.578 miles per inch (approx. 5/8" = 1 mile). These are paper maps that are 27" by 43.5" when unfolded. The following maps are available: Caliente Clover Mountain Currie Duckwater Ely Garrison Kern Mountains Mount Hamilton Mount Jefferson Newark Lake Overton Pahranagat Range Quinn Canyon Range Ruby Lake Summit Mountain Timpahute Range Wilson Creek Range Nevada State maps can be purchased. A large map is a 1:500,000 - scale map that is approximately 44" by 64" when unfolded. This sells for $7.00. The smaller version has a scale of 1:1,000,000 and is approximately 22.5" by 32.5" unfolded. This map is $3.00. Other topographic maps may be purchased at the White Pine County Museum or at local sporting goods stores.
