OROVADA LAND SALE POSTPONED

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Winnemucca Field Office announced today that the sale of 880 acres of public land near Orovada, Nevada that was scheduled for August 23rd for written bids and August 24th for oral bids has been postponed. "A protest to the sale by a member of the public made it necessary to postpone the land sale," explained Realty Specialist M. Lynn Trost. "We regret any inconvenience or confusion this may cause. We will set a new sale date as soon as possible and get that information out as quickly as we can."
