USGS 7.5 MINUTE QUAD MAPS NOW AVAILABLE AT VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER
To accommodate people who need to buy topographic maps in the evening or on weekends, USGS 7.5 minute topographic maps are now offered for sale by the Chamber of Commerce at the Winnemucca Visitor Information Center. The Bureau of Land Management, Winnemucca Field Office, no longer sells the USGS Quad maps.
The Visitor Information Center is located at the corner of Winnemucca Boulevard and Bridge Street, in the East Hall of the Convention Center. The hours are: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – noon and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Maps for the entire area are available and are priced at $6 each.
