Environmental EducationThe VisionPublic participation in BLM environmental education programs will lead to healthier and more productive ecosystems and to better educated citizens willing to assist the BLM in solving and preventing complex environmental problems on public lands. The GoalsStewardship: Educate and motivate the public to sustain the health and productivity of ecosystems on public and private lands. Education: Use the public land resources to provide opportunities to all citizens for lifelong learning. Community: Strengthen communities by providing opportunities for citizens to experience the outdoors and invest in their surroundings. Partnerships: Expand environmental education partnerships to increase effectiveness and maximize use of resources.
